Besra Gold Inc. (Besra) is a Malaysia-based gold mining company focused on exploration and development of the Bau Goldfield in East Malaysia. Besra controls, directly and indirectly, approximately 92.0% interest in the Bau Gold Project located in Sarawak, East Malaysia. Its Bau Gold Project is located approximately 30-40 kilometers (km) from Kuching, the capital city of the province of Sarawak, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Its interests in mining tenements extend across four concessional areas, collectively covering approximately 1,340 square kilometers of Sarawak. The Bau Gold Project contains multiple brownfield exploration projects and hosts a combined resource of 72.6 megaton at 1.43 grams per ton of gold for 3.3 million ounces of gold as well as an exploration target ranging between 4.9 and 9.3 million ounces. Its Jugan Project is located approximately 6 km northeast of Bau township. Its subsidiaries include Besra NZ Limited, Bau Mining Co Ltd and North Borneo Gold Sdn Bhd.
