Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based company, which develops, manufactures, and markets inline quality control systems and yield management solutions for the solar cell manufacturing industry. The Company operates in one reportable operating segment, being the development, manufacturing and marketing of Production Measurement and Control systems (PMC) for the solar wafer, cell, and panel manufacturing industry. Its products include DM and TCM Instruments, Insight, and Visualize. The DM and TCM Instruments are a non-contact measurement of wafer properties. The DM sensors use infrared light to measure properties of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) wafers. The Insight product analyzes the data available from the sequence of finished solar cells in a production line and reveals the links between variations in their efficiency and the causes in production. Its services include design and engineering of DM, Visualize and Insight configurations to fit into production line.
