Company Profile

Orca Energy Group Inc. produces and sells natural gas to the power and industrial sectors in Tanzania. The Company’s principal operating asset is an interest held by a subsidiary, PanAfrican Energy Tanzania Limited (PAET) in a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) with the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and the Government of Tanzania (GoT) in the United Republic of Tanzania. This PSA covers the production and marketing of certain gas from the Songo Songo Block offshore Tanzania. It operates the Songo Songo gas field offshore Tanzania. The Company operates a license, which has a total area of approximately 41,630 acres (170 square kilometers). The blocks are located in shallow water approximately 15 kilometers (km) off the coast and 200 km south of Dar es Salaam. Songas owns the infrastructure that enables the natural gas from the Songo Songo field to be transported to Dar es Salaam where it is consumed by power and industrial customers.
