Company Profile

Foran Mining Corporation is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in copper-zinc-gold-silver exploration and development. The Company holds eight properties encompassing over 140,000 hectares within the Hanson Lake District of eastern Saskatchewan, Canada along the deposit rich Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. Its projects include the development of the McIlvenna Bay deposit, evaluation of the Bigstone deposit, and near mine exploration of several promising targets. McIlvenna Bay is a copper-zinc-gold-silver rich VHMS deposit, which is located 65 kilometers (km) West of Flin Flon, Manitoba and is part of the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt that extends from Snow Lake, Manitoba, through Flin Flon to its ground in eastern Saskatchewan, a distance of over 225 km. Its exploration camp is road-accessible, located 17 km south on the Hanson Lake all-weather gravel road. The Bigstone deposit is located within the Northern Lights Property, which lies west of McIlvenna Bay.
