Vanet Gida Sanayi Ic ve Dis Ticaret AS (Vanet Gida) is a Turkey-based company engaged in the food processing sector. The Company processes meat and poultry and offers such products as veal, lamb and turkey carcasses, salami, sausages, cured spiced beef, ham and tripe. The Company owns a 24,000 square-meter facility in Van, Turkey, where its stockbreeding takes place. Its facility has a daily production capacity of 24 tons of chopped meat and 20 tons of delicatessen products. It has a storage capacity of 1,500 tons of carcass and other products. Slaughtering is done according to the Islamic rules. On October 26, 2010, the Company signed a three-year contract with Metro Holding for the right of use of six Vanet brands. Vanet Gida is a subsidiary of Metro Ticari ve Mali Yatirimlar Holding A.S.
