Sterling Bancorp, Inc. is a unitary savings and loan holding company. The Company, through its subsidiary, Sterling Bank and Trust, F.S.B. (the Bank), offers a range of loan products to the residential and commercial markets, as well as retail banking services. The Bank operates through a network of approximately 28 branches of which 26 branches are located in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California with the remaining branches located in New York, New York and Southfield, Michigan. Its loan portfolio includes residential real estate loans, construction loans, commercial lines of credit and consumer loans. Its investment portfolio includes United States treasuries and agency securities, mortgage backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations, and collateralized debt obligations. The Bank offers depository products, including checking, savings, money market, individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and certificates of deposits, to individuals and businesses.
