Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. is an environmental and environmental technology know-how company. The Company operates through two segments: Treatment and Services. The Treatment Segment includes nuclear, low-level radioactive, mixed, hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment, processing and disposal services; and research and development (R&D) activities to identify, develop and implement waste processing techniques for problematic waste streams. Its services segment includes technical services, nuclear services and the Company-owned equipment calibration and maintenance laboratory that services, maintains, calibrates, and sources health physics, industrial hygiene (IH) and customized nuclear, environmental, and occupational safety and health (NEOSH) instrumentation. Its technical services provide professional radiological measurement and site survey of large government and commercial installations using advanced methods, technology and engineering.
