Koonenberry Gold Ltd is an Australia-based mineral explorer. The Company is focused on the exploration of its 100%-owned Koonenberry Gold Project. The project is located in north-western New South Wales, approximately 160 kilometers (km) north-east of the major mining and cultural center of Broken Hill and 40 km west of the opal mining town of White Cliffs. The project covers approximately 2,060 square kilometers of granted exploration licenses (EL’s) in a consolidated tenement package. The licenses are held by its subsidiary, Lasseter Gold Pty Ltd. The project area covers a series of Mid-Cambrian marine sediments of the Teltawongee and Ponto Groups. The Project has abundant evidence for gold and is regarded as being highly prospective for Victorian style orogenic gold deposits. The Company also focuses on advancing exploration activities at Bellagio and Atlantis Projects. Bellagio Gold Prospect is a significant widespread gold mineralization in bedrock.
