Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Limited is an India-based manufacturer of polyester products, including polyester filament yarn (PFY), polyester staple fiber (PSF), draw texturized yarn (DTY), specialty fiber and chips. The Company is also engaged in the trading of spun yarn and also engaged in power generation, which is used primarily for captive consumption. Its subsidiary includes Indorama Yarns Private Limited. The Company has an integrated manufacturing complex at Butibori, near Nagpur in Maharashtra, which has approximately six lakh tons per annum polyester manufacturing capacity. The Company has technical collaborates with Dupont of United States, Toyobo of Japan, Zimmer AG of Germany and other. The Company’s 71.08 megawatts (MW) installed capacity at Butibori comprises of 40.0 MW industrial gas turbine facility based on coal and 31.08 MW diesel generator (DG) sets facility based on furnace oil. The Company operates in India, Indonesia, Thailand, United States, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
