Company Profile

IGas Energy PLC is an onshore oil and gas exploration and production business. The Company is focused on the East Midlands and the Weald Basin in the south of England, which is the production of hydrocarbons. It has an interest in 50 licenses at onshore locations across Britain, including the Weald Basin in southern England, the Gainsborough Trough in the East Midlands, the Bowland Basin in the Northwest and in the inner moray fifth, north of Inverness in the Scotland. It develops and produces gas and oil reserves at onshore locations in the Northwest of England, the East Midlands, the Weald Basin in Southern England and the northern coastal areas of the Inner Moray Firth in Scotland. It produces 2,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day, helping to provide the country with secure energy supplies. It has 28 fields with over 90 sites around the country, producing predominantly oil. Its subsidiaries include Star Energy Group Limited, Star Energy Limited, GT Energy UK Limited and others.
