HPQ Silicon Inc. is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering processes for silica and silicon material production. The Company’s projects are focused on proposing innovative silicon (Si)-based solutions while developing a portfolio of high value-added silicon (Si) and Silica dioxide (SiO2) products It is engaged in developing the PUREVAPTM Quartz Reduction Reactors, a process to directly transform quartz into high-purity silicon (Si) (from 3N to 4N) in a single step. It is developing the PUREVAPTM Nano Silicon Reactor (NSiR), a process that can use material produced by the QRR as feedstock, to make a wide range of nano/micro spherical powders and nanowires of different sizes. The Company is developing a plasma-based process that allows direct Quartz to Fumed silica transformation, removing the use of hazardous chemicals in the making of Fumed silica and eliminating the hydrogen chloride gas associated with its manufacturing.
