Halcones Precious Metals Corp. is a Canada-based exploration company focused on gold, silver and copper exploration. The Company is engaged in exploring for and developing gold-silver projects in the Maricunga Belt, Chile, the premiere gold mining district in South America. Its main project is the Carachapampa Project, which is located in Diego de Almagro, Copiapo Region, Chile and comprises approximately 12 contiguous mining concessions (pedimentos) with a total area of 2,868 hectares. It has identified four target areas all with gold mineralization in Carachapampa, such as Central Target, Northwest Target, Falda East Target and Mina del Indio Target. Its wholly owned subsidiary is Exploraciones Los Halcones S.A.
