Fremont Gold Ltd. is a Canada-based gold company. The principal business activity of the Company is the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties located in the United States. The Company’s projects include Griffon gold project (Griffon), Cobb Creek gold project, and Hurricane project. Griffon consists of about 89 unpatented mining claims, which are located at the southern end of the Cortez Trend, approximately 75 kilometers (km) southwest of Ely. The Cobb Creek gold project is located in Elko County, Nevada. The Hurricane project is in the Cortez Trend in Lander County, approximately three km northwest of Barrick’s Hilltop deposit, Nevada.
