Fat Prophets Global Property Fund (the Fund) is an Australia-based listed investment trust (LIT). The objective of the Fund is to provide investors with a total return consisting of capital appreciation and dividend income. The Fund invests its capital in real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on stock exchanges in developed markets around the world. The Fund invests in a diversified but high-conviction portfolio of global real estate securities. The Fund only invests in equities in developed markets and the Fund does not use leverage, shorting or derivatives and, as such, is simple in structure, targeting capital growth and distribution. The Fund’s investment weighting benchmark allocation to Australian REITs is around 30%, with the balance in international markets. The Fund aims to generate capital growth and distribution income from its investments and has a value bias to its investment strategy. The investment manager of the Fund is Fat Prophets Funds Management Pty Ltd.
