Fat Prophets Global Contrarian Fund Limited is a company, which provides investors with access to a global portfolio. The Company’s principal activity is to invest predominantly in a concentrated portfolio of listed securities from global equity markets, with the objective of providing long-term capital growth. The Company’s investment portfolio will be managed by Fat Prophets Funds Management Pty Limited (the Manager). The investment strategy of the Company is to manage an investment portfolio across equities, commodities, currency, cash and derivatives throughout their respective market cycles with the aim of enhancing the long-term performance outcomes. The Manager’s philosophy is that markets tend to overreact to events, which presents short term overpriced or underpriced opportunities. The Company will invest in a concentrated portfolio of investments targeting the turning points of these opportunities.
