CFOAM products are used across a wide variety of markets, including composite tooling for the aerospace sector, energy absorbing applications, and defense applications. CFOAM carbon foam is an enabling technology for a host of material systems and components. CFOAM can replace conventional materials in existing systems to increase product life cycle and to provide enhanced product performance properties. Its CFOAM carbon foam products include CFOAM20, CFOAM25, and CFOAM30, which are non-combustible coal-based carbon foams. Its CFOAM 35 HTC graphite foam is a graphitized, lightweight, highly oriented and open-cell carbon foam produced from mesophase pitch feedstock. Its subsidiaries include CFOAM Corp and CFOAM LLC.
