Its flagship asset is the Cerro Blanco Gold Project, a near surface mine development project located in Southern Guatemala in the department of Jutiapa. The Cerro Blanco gold project is located in southeast Guatemala approximately 160 kilometers by road from the capital, Guatemala City. It is located in the Jutiapa Department, approximately nine kilometers west of the border with El Salvador. The Company owns a 100% interest in Mita Geothermal through its subsidiary, Geotermia Oriental de Guatemala, S.A. Mita Geothermal is a geothermal energy resource located adjacent to Cerro Blanco and is seven kilometers from the Pan American Highway near the town of Asuncion Mita, in the region of Jutiapa in Guatemala. The Mita Geothermal project is located in southeast Guatemala approximately 160 kilometers by road from the capital, Guatemala City.
