Beam Communications Holdings Limited is a developer and distributor of mobile satellite solutions and services. The Company is engaged in the development and marketing of a range of communication products and services, mainly satellite-based. It is focused on the development process of the Iridium GO! product called for the creation of a smartphone application. This is used to support access to voice calling, messaging, save its souls (SOS), tracking, and other specialized services, such as Twitter updates and image sending from a user’s device. The Company offers services for Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD) and the Iridium push-to-talk services that specifically support enterprise and government clients. The Iridium SBD service is a network transport capability for transmitting short data messages between equipment and centralized host computer systems. It is integrated by value-added resellers into vertical market applications in industries such as oil and gas, rail, and maritime.
