Astro Resources NL is an Australia-based diversified exploration company. The Company is focused on advancing its projects: Georgina Basin IOCG Project, Northern Territory, Australia, Governor Broome Minerals Sands Project, Western Australia and Needles Gold Project, Nevada. The Needles Gold Project is located in the State of Nevada, United States. Needles is located approximately 100 kilometers (km) southeast of the 15 Moz Kinross Round Mountain open cut gold mine, considered to be one of the world’s largest epithermal, low-sulphidation volcanic-hosted gold deposits. The Governor Broome Project is its 100% owned Heavy Mineral Sands (HMS) Project located in the minerals sand rich coastal plains of Western Australia. The Georgina Basin IOCG Project is located in the prospective East Tennant Mineral Province of the Northern Territory. The Georgina Project comprises 10 granted Exploration Licenses, and three under application, for a combined total of 4,522 square kilometers (km2).
