The Company’s Personal Care segment produces and distributes dispersions of mineral-only ultraviolet (UV) filters in cosmetic emollients used for sunscreen, skincare and pharmaceutical formulations, as well as alumina plate-like powders used for cosmetic applications. The Company’s products include ZinClear XP, Alusion (Alumina) and ZinClear IM Dispersions. ZinClear XP is a pharmaceutical grade non-nano zinc oxide powder. ZinClear XP is a mineral-based, broad-spectrum, UV filter, suitable for natural/mineral/vegan finished sunscreen, and personal care products. Alusion is a zinc-oxide coated alumina powder with sun protection factor (SPF) boost capabilities. Antaria provides a uniform platelet morphology giving superior slip, adhesion and transparency.
