The Company is focused on commercializing its licensed solvent extraction (SX) and refining technology to produce High Purity Alumina (HPA) and related products for use in the burgeoning lithium-ion battery and light emitting diode (LED) lighting markets. The Company operates through two segments: development of the HPA First Project and minerals exploration and evaluation. Its Gladstone-based HPA First Project produces a range of low carbon footprint HPA products for a range of applications while offering opportunities for local communities. Its HPA products are manufactured through its Smart SX technology. Its HPA products include Ultra HPA Powder & Tablets, Ultra Boehmite, Ultra Aluminum Nitrate, Ultra Gamma Alumina, and Ultra Aluminum Sulfate. The Smart SX Technology is a scientific process that enables to extract aluminum to generate a suite of Ultra High Purity aluminum products.
