Company Profile

National Mobile Telecommunications Co KSCP, also known as Wataniya Telecom, is a Kuwait-based public shareholding company engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the provision of mobile telecommunications and Internet services in Kuwait, Middle East and North Africa, and Maldives region. The Company focuses on two business segments: Personal and Business. The Personal segment offers voice plans, Internet, BlackBerry, social and entertainment services, messaging, call management and roaming, among others. The Business segment offers solutions for corporate customers, including broadband wireless solutions, tone services, BlackBerry roaming services, among other related products and services. As of December 31, 2012, the Company’s subsidiaries included Wataniya Telecom Algerie SPA and Wataniya International FZ LLC, among others. In January, 2014, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and an affiliate have acquired the Company’s subsidiary, Public Telecommunication Company Limited (Bravo).
