Oman Chlorine SAOG is a Sultanate of Oman-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial chemicals. The Company operates a chlor-alkali plant located in the Sohar Industrial Estate, which was designed and erected by Cellchem of Sweden, part of the Akzo Nobel Group, under the supervision of Germanischer Lloyd of Germany. The Company’s core products include hydrochloric acid (HCl) with a concentration of 33%, caustic soda lye at 50%, caustic soda flakes with a purity greater than 99.5% on a dry basis, sodium hypochlorite at 15%, and calcium chloride anhydrous granules with a purity of 97%. These chemicals serve various industries, including oil drilling and exploration, detergents, power generation, and desalination. The Company also operates through its subsidiaries, including United Gulf Chemical Company SAOC and Horizon Manufacturing Company LLC, which support its strategic expansion and diversification in the chemical manufacturing sector.
