The Company holds a variety of different investments in a range of issues located in different geographies and operating in different sectors. Its objective is to provide investors with a high gross dividend yield and the potential for capital growth by mainly investing in high yielding fixed interest securities. The Company invests predominantly in fixed income securities, including, but not limited to, preference shares, loan stocks, corporate bonds (convertible and/or redeemable) and government stocks. The Company also invests in equities and other income yielding securities. The Company's classification of investment portfolio by sector includes financials, energy, industrials, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, information technology, communication services, real estate and materials. CQS (UK) LLP is the investment manager of the Company.
