Its investment objective is to provide investors with a dividend income combined with the potential for long-term capital growth from a diversified portfolio of emerging markets investments. The Company invests predominantly in listed equities but retains flexibility also to invest in other types of securities, including, but not limited to, unlisted equities, convertible securities, preference shares, debt securities, cash and cash equivalents. The Company is free to invest in any particular market, sector or country in the global Emerging Markets universe. Its portfolio contains between 50 and 80 holdings. No more than 15% of the Company’s gross assets shall be invested in the securities of any one company or group at the time the investment is made. Its investment manager is J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
