Company Profile

Emperor Energy Limited is an Australia-based diversified energy company with upstream and downstream assets in Australia. The principal activities of the Company consist of investment in selected exploration, production and development opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector. The Company is focused on the development of the Judith Gas Project, located approximately 40 kilometers (km) offshore from the Orbost Gas Plant in the Gippsland Basin, Victoria. It holds two petroleum tenements, which include Vic/P47 and Backreef Area. The petroleum tenement, Vic/P47 is located approximately 200 km east of Melbourne. The Company’s strategic asset, Vic/P47 is in the Gippsland Basin next to the BHP/ExxonMobil Kipper field. Its petroleum tenement, Backreef is in the Canning Basin. Its subsidiaries include OBL Backreef No.10 Pty Ltd, Canning Basin Oil Limited, Shelf Oil Pty Ltd and Backreef Energy Pty Ltd.
