CC Japan Income & Growth Trust plc is a United Kingdom-based closed-ended investment company. The Company’s investment objective is to provide shareholders with dividend income combined with capital growth, mainly through investment in equities listed or quoted in Japan. It intends to invest in equities listed or quoted in Japan. The Company may also invest in exchange traded funds in order to gain exposure to such equities. Investment in exchange traded funds shall be limited to not more than 20 % of gross assets at the time of investment. The Company may also invest in listed Japanese real estate investment trusts (J-REITs). It may enter into long only contracts for difference or equity swaps for gearing and efficient portfolio management purposes.
