It offers CropOS food innovation engine is a product design and development platform that uses predictive breeding and other advanced tools, such as CRISPR gene editing technology. Its Ingredients Business segment is focused on enhancing soy and yellow pea with ingredients serving multiple plant-based protein markets through customers, including ingredient companies, CPG companies, aquaculture production and feed companies, food-service operations and grocery retail. Its CropOS platform combines data science and machine learning with biology and genetics. It is developing a diversified portfolio in a range of markets including protein ingredients, aquaculture and specialty animal feed and vegetable oils. It operates a soy crushing and food-grade white flake and soy flour manufacturing operation in Creston, Iowa and it processes dry peas in North Dakota, which it sells throughout North America.
