The Company is engaged in developing a pipeline of adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapies for Bcl2-associated athanogene 3 (BAG3) gene mutation-associated diseases in areas of unmet medical need. The Company’s therapeutic focuses on cardiovascular disease, with a lead program in BAG3 mutation-associated dilated cardiomyopathy. Its lead product candidate, REN-001, is an AAV9-based gene therapy designed to treat BAG3-associated dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).
