The Company specializes in the end-to-end development, manufacturing, and commercialization of medical countermeasures that combat unmet and emerging biothreats. It provides process development and biomanufacturing services to support its biotherapeutics and discovery pipeline. The Company’s monoclonal antibody ANTHIM (obiltoxaximab) is a monoclonal antibody that binds the protective antigen (PA) component of anthrax. Obiltoxaximab’s toxin neutralizing activity prevents entry of anthrax toxin into susceptible cells, avoiding further spread of the toxin throughout the body and the ensuing tissue damage that leads to death. The Company offers RapidVax as a flexible plug-and-play vaccine platform designed to leverage gp96-based vaccines and couples the immune-activating properties of heat shock protein gp96 and the T-cell co-stimulator OX40L with a flexible antigen expression system to promote antigen-specific T-cell activation.
