Company Profile

PT Aneka Tambang Tbk is an Indonesia-based mining company. It is engaged in the business of mining various types of minerals, and of mining-related industry, trade, transportation, and mining sector services. The Company operates through three segments: Nickel, Precious Metals and Refinery, and Bauxite and Alumina. Its Nickel segment is comprised of ferronickel and nickel ore sales. Its Precious Metals and Refinery business segment consists of gold commodity, silver and precious metals processing and refinery services. Its gold ore mining is produced from two mining sites: Pongkor, West Java and Cibaliung, Banten. Bauxite contains alumina (AI203) and a mixture of silica, various iron oxides, and titanium dioxide. It has three ferronickel smelters (FeNi II, III and IV) with four production lines with annual combined capacity of 27,000 TNi. The Company, through its subsidiary, PT Indonesia Coal Resources, produces coal from the Sarolangun coal mine located in Jambi Province, Indonesia.
